So who exactly are our driving force?

Orizontas Capital targets urban and rural populations across Kenya. In both settings we partner with salaried individuals who require credit for a range of reasons including businesses, personal development and emergencies such as medical and school fees. These are offered as check off loans for customers who work for organizations accredited with Orizontas. Non check off loans are also offered for salaried persons against 3 months pay slips and bank statements. Further we support micro and small business owners both in the urban and rural areas The businesses we have supported so far include small bakeries, peanut butter processing plants, small food vendors, school uniform suppliers, taxi operators and many more.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Kenya, though a middle income country still has a fairly big segment of society that is severely disadvantaged from an economic and social perspective. We firmly believe in playing a role in changing this state of affairs . For this purpose we aspire to give back to society and to act as a channel for solutions in life’s pressing challenges. We began by kickstarting an initiative to provide food supplies to food insecure homes in 2020. We have further seen it that the supply chains used to procure these food supplies are established to the benefit of disadvantaged women. An immediate future plan is to roll out a challenge fund that will enable women between the ages of 20-65 years from disadvantaged backgrounds to benefit from business grants and business advisory services for purposes of either starting or growing their businesses. This will be a competitive process with participants who are most in need being selected based on criteria of their family and social backgrounds. Successful individuals shall be hand-held up to the point where they can become eligible to borrow from us
